Truth: Every step has triangular structure having tread and riser supported on the track, which cannot  make the steps flatten

Myth 2: Escalators move too fast

Truth: Escalator moves quite slowly but the myth is believed because we stand still on the escalator and everything around fast and moving.

Myth 3: Escalators stops and re-starts by self

Truth: Escalators can only stop if there are any technical issues or someone presses Stop button.
